This course is a three-credit unit course for undergraduate students in Political Science. The materials have been developed to meet global standards. This course examines the concept and method of Political Evaluation. It considers measurement and measurement procedures as key process of evaluating the validity and, or effectuality of political programmes and public policies. The course looks at a range of evaluation methods and illustrates their usefulness in different situations. It exposes students to the rudiments of descriptive and inferential statistics as a necessary background to the study of Political Evaluation. The course accentuates the centrality ofreferencing, referencing styles and bibliography to evaluation process and political evaluation report writing.
