The official timetable runs across multiple pages and contains schedules for different programmes and courses. Students should therefore ensure they check the sections relevant to their department and level rather than relying only on information shared in WhatsApp groups or social media.
The timetable includes lecture periods ranging from 7:00 AM through 6:00 PM, with classes scheduled across different lecture halls, auditoriums, laboratories, sports halls, drawing studios and other designated venues.
What Students Should Check on the Timetable
After downloading the timetable, students should look out for the following:
1. Your course codes
Find the courses registered for your level and department and confirm when each course is scheduled.
For example, the timetable contains courses such as CHM 201, ECO 317, MKT 309, LIN 103, LAW 101 and several other departmental and faculty courses.
2. Day and time
Pay close attention to the day and exact lecture period assigned to each course. Some courses have classes scheduled for consecutive periods, while others occupy specific one-hour slots.
The timetable uses hourly periods beginning from 7:00 AM–8:00 AM, followed by 8:00 AM–9:00 AM, 9:00 AM–10:00 AM and subsequent periods through the afternoon and evening.
3. Lecture venue
Your course may be assigned to a specific lecture venue such as a Faculty Block (FB), Auditorium, Lecture Theatre (LT/LTA/LTB), laboratory, Sports Hall, Drawing Studio or other designated location.
